When NewsMobile fact-checked the above post, we found that claim attached with the picture is FAKE.

We checked Guinness world records’ official website and confirmed the tallest man ever in history was Robert Pershing Wadlow who was 8.9 feet (272 centimetres).

Meanwhile, the tallest man alive is Turkey’s Sultan Kösen who is 8.2 feet (251 cms) tall.

Hence, this proves that the viral post is FAKE and the man in the picture is NOT the tallest man in the world.
