A picture post is making rounds on social media which has a quote attributed to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
The quote in Hindi read: “भारतीय मुस्लमान दुनिया के सबसे अच्छे मुस्लमान हैं, उनपर सवाल उठाने वाला हर व्यक्ति देशद्रोही है: राजनाथ सिंह”
(Translation: Indian Muslims are the best Muslims in the world, every person who questioned them is a traitor. Rajnath Singh)

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be misleading.
On putting the whole statement and few keywords like Muslim, best, Rajnath Singh through a Google search, we found that Rajnath Singh used half of the above statement as we found a report by Times Now in which he was quoted saying that “Indian Muslims are the best Muslims in the world”.
But in the report dated June 20th, 2018, there is no mention of him saying that ‘people who questioned them are traitors’.
Hence, the above information proves that the post quoting Rajnath Singh is misleading.
