This is not the picture of Cyclone Vayu hitting Mumbai; here’s the fact check

An aerial picture of Mumbai’s Marine Drive is making rounds on social media and it has been claimed that the picture is clicked when Cyclone Vayu hit the coast of Mumbai.

The caption of the picture read: “Cyclone Vayu hits coasts of Mumbai. Dangerous situation all over the city……Stay Alert ⛔”

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture, we found that the claim attached to it is FAKE.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we came across the same picture uploaded on Instagram by travelbrainy and it was posted on July 16th, 2018, much before cyclone Vayu.

Hence, this proves that the claim attached to the video is false.
