A photo is seen making rounds on social media in which it is claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended Cannes Film Festival which started on May 15, 2019.

The caption of the picture read- “कान फिल्म फेस्टिवल में अपने फैशन का जलवा बिखेरनेे के लिए जाते बर्फीले शहशांह😂😂🕵

(Translation-  King of the winter going to the Cannes festival to showcase his fashion sense)

When we put the pictures through Reverse Image Search, we found a video on the official Twitter handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The photos are from his two-day visit to Kedarnath and Badrinath shrines in Uttarakhand that began today on May 18, 2019.

The above information proves that the claim is FAKE.
