Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday, started his meditation at a holy cave near Kedarnath shrine in Uttarakhand. The meditation will last till tomorrow morning, which also happens to be the last day of the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections.
PM Modi arrived at Dehradun’s Jolly Grant airport and took a helicopter to Kedarnath.

After spending his morning in prayers and reviewing re-development projects in Kedarnath, PM Modi meditated at a holy cave near Kedarnath shrine in Uttarakhand.
BJP Uttarakhand president Ajay Bhatt said this is “just a spiritual visit” and the people of the state are excited about it.
Earlier, the prime minister’s office had sought the views of the Election Commission on the two-day official visit of PM Modi to Uttarakhand.
PM Modi will visit Badrinath on Sunday before returning to Delhi in the afternoon.
