Virat Kohli, Smriti Madhana bag International Cricketer, Woman Cricketer of the Year award

India skipper Virat Kohli has bagged the International Cricketer and Batsman of the year award, while Smriti Mandhana was honoured with the International women cricketer of the year award during the CEAT International Cricket Awards 2019.

Jasprit Bumrah was named the International Bowler of the Year, while Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma bagged the International Test Cricketer of the Year and International ODI Cricketer of the Year awards respectively.

International Cricketer and Batsman of the Year – Virat Kohli
International Woman Cricketer of the Year– Smriti Mandhana
International Bowler of the Year – Jasprit Bumrah
International Test Cricketer of the Year – Cheteshwar Pujara
International ODI Cricketer of the Year – Rohit Sharma
International T20 Player of the Year – Aaron Finch
Outstanding Performance of the Year– Kuldeep Yadav
International T20 Bowler of the Year– Rashid Khan
Lifetime Achievement Award – Mohinder Amarnath
Domestic Player of the Year– Ashutosh Aman
Junior Cricketer of the Year– Yashasvi Jaiswal

Kohli has accumulated 10,843 runs in the one-day international (ODI) cricket and scored 6613 runs in the longest format. Whereas, Mandhana has 1,951 runs under her belt in ODI cricket and 1,298 runs in the shortest format.

Kohli will be leading the India team in the World Cup, which starts on May 30, for the first time but will have the experience of the World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni behind the stumps.

India will face South Africa in their first match in this year’s World Cup clash on June 5.
