Fact Checked: This viral picture is not from the road show in which Kejriwal got slapped

After Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was slapped by a man in West Delhi on May 4th, 2019 a post started surfacing on the internet that indicated that the man in the picture wearing a red t-shirt was the one who slapped Kejriwal.

The caption of the picture read- “खेल समझो ये है वो जिसने आज केजेरेवाल को चांटा मारा”

(Translation- Understand the game, this is the person who slapped Kejriwal)

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact checkers investigated the fact, we found that the claim was FAKE.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found a video of the same roadshow.

The person in the viral video can be seen from- 24:47- 25:38

The video is from Raghav Chadha’s roadshow that was organised in South Delhi on May 1st, 2019.

Whereas, Arvind Kejriwal was slapped on May 4th, 2019 in West Delhi.

Hence, it is clear that the man in the viral post is not the person who slapped Kejriwal.
