Fact Checked: This picture of Amit Shah showing shoe to Kejriwal is FAKE

A picture is making rounds on social media in which BJP President Amit Shah can be seen showing a shoe to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The caption with the picture read: “23 के बाद अगर किसी ने EVM का रोना रोया तो इस जूते से ही उसका इलाज होगा|”

(Translation: After 23rd, if someone cried over EVM, then treatment would be done only by this shoe)

FACT CHECK

Team of fact checkers at NewsMobile checked the viral picture and found it to be FAKE.

On putting the cropped elements of the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture of Arvind Kejriwal which was inserted in Amit Shah’s picture using photoshop software.

On comparing both pictures it becomes clear that Kejriwal’s solo picture was cut out to create a misleading picture.

Hence, this proves that the viral picture is FAKE.
