In another setback for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), rebel MLA Devinder Kumar Sehrawat joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday in the presence of Union Minister Vijay Goel.
Earlier on May 3, AAP MLA from Gandhi Nagar, Anil Bajpai, switched to the BJP. Bajpai joined the saffron party in the presence of Delhi BJP in-charge Shyam Jaju and Goel.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led party has accused the BJP of indulging in horse-trading. And recently, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia alleged that the BJP offered Rs 10 crore to seven AAP MLAs to cross over.

Exuding confidence, the Delhi chief minister on Friday, May 3, hit out at Union Minister Vijay Goel, saying it is not easy to buy AAP leaders. Kejriwal’s comments came a day after the BJP leader claimed that 14 AAP MLAs were in touch with his party, willing to switch sides.

All seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi will go to polls in a single phase on May 12. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
