Election 2019 phase 4: Key candidates, constituencies

As the polling in 303 Lok Sabha seats is completed, the fourth phase of voting in the 2019 Lok Sabha election will take place across 72 parliamentary constituencies in nine states on April 29. 945 candidates are contesting and around 12.79 crores voters are eligible in this phase.

In the 2014 elections, the BJP had won 45 of these 72 seats, while the Congress had bagged only two seats. Besides, Odisha will also witness the Legislative Assembly election in some Assembly constituencies that come under the respective parliamentary constituencies set to vote in phase 4.

States going to polls: Bihar (5), Jammu and Kashmir (1), Jharkhand (3), Madhya Pradesh (6), Maharashtra (17), Odisha (6), Rajasthan (13), Uttar Pradesh (13) and West Bengal (8).
