Due to our hectic schedule and busy lives, we always end up messing up our eating schedule. There are times when we end up going to bed on an empty stomach and missing out on dinner. The gap between supper or snack time till breakfast may leave your stomach growling and you may think it is helping but it may cause harm if one makes it a habit.
Sleep deficiency
Sleeping without a proper meal and hungry stomach will leave you tossing and turning in bed. Hunger will subconsciously affect your sleep and not let you have peace.
Weight gain
Unlike the popular belief, skipping dinner affects the weight adversely and you would end up gaining weight instead of losing. The idea is to have a light meal at night, maybe a soup or salad perhaps and that is sufficient. Once you are going to bed a heavy meal is not suggested and also skipping would also not help.
