Must give your vote to make the country stronger: PM Modi to first-time voters

New Delhi: With the first phase of polling just two days away, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday appealed to first-time voters to vote for BJP, ensuring them that this will help strengthen the country even more.

“Can your first vote in your life ensure that the poor get a home? Can your first vote ensure that water reaches the fields of farmers?” PM Modi asked the crowds during a rally in Maharashtra’s Latur.

PM Modi also mentioned about the air strike at Jaish-e-Mohammed camp in Pakistan’s Balakot after the deadly Pulwama attack.

“I want to ask first-time voters, can your first vote be cast in honour of those brave Air Force pilots who led the air strike in Balakot? Can your first vote be cast to honour those brave soldiers who died in Pulwama?” PM Modi said.

PM Modi further said, “You are 18 now and you must give your vote for the country, for a strong government, to make the country stronger.”
