Kalank’s song ‘Tabah ho gaye’: Madhuri exudes pure magic onscreen

Madhuri Dixit is synonymous with perfection, expression and touted as one of the best dancers, in the Hindi film industry. She is the epitome of grace and elegance and has proved it time and again by acing her performances on songs like ‘Ek do teen’, ‘Chane Ke khet’, ‘Kahe Ched mohe’ and ‘Maar Daala’.

It has been a while since we got to see her dancing, but the wait is over now. The makers of ‘Kalank’ have dropped a new track featuring Madhuri Dixit called ‘Tabah ho Gaye.’ The fans were made to wait a while for this one, but Madhuri has done full justice to it and nails the expressions and choreography. No surprizes there!

The song captures the pain and longing that Dixit’s character Bahaar Begum is going through and she perfectly expresses her angst. The choreographers Saroj Khan and Remo D’Souza have made sure to keep the theme and expressions of the song highlighted while Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics, Shreya Ghoshal voice and Pritam’s composition are in complete sync.

The song comes at a pivotal point in the film which also stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank is due to release on April 17, 2019.
