The former executive editor of ET Now will be contest from Maharajganj Lok Sabha seat.
4. Smriti Irani
Significantly, Smriti will fight with Rahul as BJP candidate in Amethi this time. Earlier, in the 2014 electoral battle, Smriti and Rahul have faced Amna, in which the BJP had to face defeat.
5. Hema Malini
The actor-turned-politician, Hema Malini will be re-contesting from the Mathura Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh again this LS polls. A decade ago actress Jaya Prada first won elections from Rampur, she has returned to the Lok Sabha constituency. She is pitted against Samajwadi Party’s leader Azam Khan to challenge him in UP. She mentioned when she addressed the media that she was happy to join the party work with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
