Congress releases list of 40 star campaigners for Maharashtra

Congress on Tuesday has released the list of 40 leaders who will be campaigning for the party’s candidates during the first two phases of Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra.
As per the list, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are some of the top leaders who will campaign for the five Congress candidates.

The list further includes other senior Congress leaders like Ambika Soni, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Ahmed Patel, Captain Amarinder Singh, Sachin Pilot, Raj Babbar and Salman Khurshid.
Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held from April 11 and will go on till May 19 in seven phases. The Election Commission of India has announced that the polling for the Lok Sabha Constituencies of Maharashtra will happen in 4 phases right from the starting of elections on April 11. The dates of polling in Maharashtra are April 11, 18, 23 and 29.
There are 48 Lok Sabha seats at stake in Maharashtra.
