Deepika’s wax statue is straight out of the cape lehenga that she wore for IIFA Awards in 2016. A champagne- coloured Sabyasachi Mukherjee creation.
Standing close to the wax statue, Ranveer said, “Can I take her home?” And DeePee was quick to respond, “Whenever you’re here, shooting for 83 and you miss me too much, you can come here.”
On the work front, DeePee is all set to begin shooting for her next film, Chappak that is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar. Along with Vikrant Massey, the film is based on the life of acid-attack survivor, Laxmi Aggarwal.
