Facebook has been lately focussing on Messenger to make the chat platform a better interactive space for its users. The company rolled out the unsend ability for messages sent on Messenger and now it is finally rolling out the much-awaited dark mode for the chat platform.
According to some reports the dark mode feature is under beta tests and can be enabled by sending a crescent moon emoji to yourself or to someone.

Once you receive the emoji, you will see a shower of moons along with a pop up message that says ‘You have found dark mode’ and to enable it from your Settings. Go to your Messenger’s profile page and you will see an option to turn the dark mode on.
Meanwhile, Facebook is doing a lot to keep users hooked to its platform. It has updated and redesigned the complete messenger user interface, added the ability to unsend messages, and is working on the integration of WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. The idea behind these changes is to make user move on and forget the privacy concerns which had haunted Facebook in 2018.
