Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary clinched the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at the ISSF World Cup in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Manu and Saurabh combined to shoot a total of 483.4 points in the final.The pair had earlier equalled Qualification World Record and also set a new Qualification World Record Junior by shooting 778 points.

Ranxin Jiang and Bowen Zhang of China won silver while the Republic of Korea pair Minjung Kim and Daehun Park got the bronze.
The other Indian pair of Heena Sidhu and Abhishek Verma failed to qualify for the final, shooting a total of 770 points.
On Sunday, Saurabh Chaudhary shot a world record score of 245.0 in the men’s 10m air pistol event to bag his first senior gold medal. The gold medal victory also helped India book a spot in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Saurabh also holds the world record in 10m air pistol event in the junior category and that number is higher than the senior world record he made on Sunday.
In the qualifying of the event, Manu finished at the 14th spot with 573 points while Heena was placed at the 25th spot with 571, which is why they failed to make it through.
In a series of six shots, Manu recorded her best score on her final shot when she hit a 98. Heena Sidhu, on the other hand, was even more ordinary as her best shot was 97.
Manu had also failed to win a medal in the women’s 25m pistol event on Sunday when she finished fifth in the finals with a total score of 22 from 35 shots.
