Air-strike: IAF bombs terror camp across LoC, celebs react
12 days after the deadly Pulwama terror attack, Indian Air Force carried out an air strike and bombed a terror camp of Jaish-e-Mohammed on Tuesday, early in the morning. According to reports, terror camp was located across the LoC in Balakote sector on a hilltop away from any civilian presence and was destroyed by laser bombs.
Over 10 bombs were dropped in the attack by of IAF’s multi-role fighter jet Mirage 2000 around 3:30 on Tuesday morning. The aerial attack comes the day after Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a high-level meeting with all three service chiefs.
According to the foreign secretary Vijay Keshav Gokhale, the air strike carried out by IAF is a ‘non-military pre-emptive move’ and it was specifically targeted to the JeM camp making sure to avoid civilian casualty. “JeM were attempting to carry out more suicide attacks in India. The training camp was headed by Yusuf Azhar.”

Anupam Kher and Madhur Bhandarkar defend Kangana after the mechanical horse video controversy
Kangana Ranaut who has been a center of controversy post her film Manikarnika’s release is now facing backlash on social media. A ‘Behind the scenes’ video was leaked on social media that showed Kangana Ranaut performing a fight scene riding on a mechanical horse. Taking to Twitter, Anupam Kher wrote, “How much venom this man has against a self made actress #KanganaRanaut!! This is called ‘acting’ idiot. Actors all over the world do that. That is their job. She will be remembered for decades for her hard work in movies. While you got your fifteen minute fame by using her name.”

Madhur Bhandarkar added in his interview that there are many technicalities while filming and every actor has stunt doubles, as well as VFX, is used in the making of films. “Kangana definitely has ridden the horse in the film. But there are close up shots..and you have to take care of that and shoot in that manner also.”
