While Aston Martin already seems to have a lot on its plate with the Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro, the company has kicked off the works on their new mid-engined hypercar called the Project 003.
Aston Martin dropped a new teaser of the hypercar, with the tailights lit in the dark which leaves the audience wanting to see it in the flesh.
#Project003 will be the third mid-engined hypercar we develop following the Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro. Project 003 has its DNA deeply rooted in concepts and technology currently being developed for those revolutionary road and track-only machines.

Project 003 has its DNA deeply rooted in concepts and technology currently being developed for those road and track-only machines. It will be built around a lightweight structure and powered by a turbocharged petrol-electric hybrid engine.
Combined with active aerodynamics for better levels of downforce in a road-legal car, active suspension systems providing next-level precision, control and driver connection like the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro, Project ‘003’ will possess class leading dynamics on both road and track. Project ‘003’ is also being designed and engineered to offer more practical concessions to road use, including space for luggage.

The hypercar is reported to be fully homologated and will be available in all markets in both left and right-hand drive. The production will be limited to 500 coupe examples globally and the first cars are estimated to hit the markets in late 2021.
There are a host of hypercars that the automotive world will be witnessing 2020 onwards. Ferrari will be coming out with the replacement to the LaFerrari, while McLaren too will replace the P1 by 2025 among the various others.
