A Mirage 2000 trainer fighter aircraft of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) crashed on 1st February, killing both the pilots, Squadron Leader Negi and Squadron Leader Abrol, in the crash.
The wife of the late Squadron Leader Abrol took to social media to pen down her emotions which is a hard-hitting read for the entire nation and the system.
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman visited the families of the martyred pilots on Tuesday. Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat also paid homage to the martyrs along with the Raksha Mantri.

The incident happened near Yamalur, off old Airport Road, when the Mirage 2000 trainer fighter aircraft of HAL, flown by the two pilots, crashed, killing both the pilots.
