Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) services will be partially curtailed on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, as part of the security arrangements for the Beating Retreat ceremony.
As per the official guidelines by DMRC officials, these include the two stations of Yellow Line metro that have been partially modified for Tuesday.
Beating Retreat Update
Central Secretariat metro station will be closed from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on 29 January.
From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, only Gate No 1 of the station will be open & all other gates will remain closed.
Interchange between Yellow & Violet lines will be permitted.

The entry and exit at Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan metro stations will remain closed between 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm, on the occasion of the Beating Retreat ceremony.
Apart from Gate No 1, rest of the entry and exit points will be closed at Central Secretariat Station from 2:00 pm to 4:00 PM. Hence, passengers who need to navigate between these routes are advised to opt for another connectivity option during the above-mentioned period.
Metro services at all other section (Blue Line, Red Line, Pink Line, Green Line, Violet Line) of the DMRC will remain as usual on Tuesday.
