Danielle Collins beat 2016 champion, Angelique Kerber, to clinch a maiden Grand Slam quarterfinal.
Collins took less than an hour to trash Kerber 6-0 6-2 at the Australian Open on Sunday.
Though she has not won a match in her previous Grand Slam appearances, her smashing performance as she defeated world No.2 has definitely left a mark on al the Tennis fans.
“I may not have won a Grand Slam match before this tournament, but I gotta tell you I think it’s going to keep on happening,” Collins said.

“It’s been an incredible experience. I’m so grateful to be here in Melbourne. I definitely played some tournaments in some strange places the first year that I turned pro. I’m really just grateful to be out here doing what I love and playing in front of a good crowd.”
Collins ranked 35 took the first set off the reigning Wimbledon champion in just 20 minutes while Kerber struggled to keep up with the attack. She smacked 29 winners to stun three-time major winner Kerber.
She will now face either Sloane Stephens or Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who will face each other on Sunday evening.
