Kapil Dev, the man who changed the Indian Cricket has turned 60 on January 6, 2019.
The first Indian captain to bring the World Cup home in 1983, Kapil Dev, has many records his name.
In his entire 184-innings Test career, Kapil Dev had never been run out. For eight years, he held the world record for the most number of wickets (434) in Test cricket. It was broken by West Indies fast bowler, Courtney Walsh in the year, 2000.
And his knock of 175 against Zimbabwe, that saved India from being ousted from the quarter-finals in 1983 world cup, is just legendary.
So, here are some rare and old pictures to celebrate India’s best all-rounder.
