Guess who’s the ‘White Walker’ in the Indian dressing room

While on the filed India’s middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has left Aussies in a tussle as he has been scoring back-to-back centuries in the ongoing test series, in the Indian dressing room players are chilling.

In the midsts of Pujara touching new heights, he opened up as to why his teammates use popular TV show ‘Game of Thrones’ analogies to describe him.

30-year old revealed that off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and team’s fitness trainer Shankar Basu gave him the nickname ‘White Walker’.

“I think Ash (R Ashwin) and Basu Sir (Shankar Basu) came up with that. Some guys also came up with ‘winter in coming’ where instead of ‘winter is coming’, they have started with ‘Pujara is coming’ which is a bit funny. But it is a good way to acknowledge what I have done (for the team),” Pujara said.

In Game of Thrones, the main antagonist are known as the White Walkers, who are on the other side of ‘the wall’ and they create havoc wherever they go.
