Have you always been thinking that drinking coffee and alcohol regularly harms your health? A new study has been found that has proven this myth wrong. According to the study, alcohol and coffee can help you live longer.
The University of California Irvine carried out a research, according to which, people who drank coffee and alcohol is moderate quantities lived longer than those who stayed away from them.

One of the main researchers of the study, Dr. Claudia Kawas said, ““I have no explanation for it, but I do firmly believe that modest drinking improves longevity,” at a conference conducted for the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
The researchers assessed close to 1500 people over 90 years old, through biannual checkups through which the researches could explore the factors and choices in life made by the people over the age of 90. 90 is the most common age-group prevalent in the US.
Based on the study, it was inferred that people who drank two glasses of beer or wine everyday lived longer by 18 per cent and those who drank two cups of coffee a day lived longer by 10 per cent.

So, now when you raise a toast over dinner with friends or family, neither you nor your family members should stop you, as coffee and alcohol can help you lead a healthier life, of course they have be controlled in terms of the quantity.
