The newly wed couple Deepika and Ranveer recently hosted a reception in Mumbai for their Bollywood colleagues and friends. While a majority of the Bollywood personalities were present at the reception, Ranbir Kapoor missed their special occasion.

When Deepika was asked by a leading magazine Famously Filmfare about her views on Ranbir Kapoor missing her wedding reception, the reply which they got was completely unpredictable. Deepika said, “We’ve not spoken. I mean, we spoke before the reception but we have not spoken after. But, that’s him. I’m not surprised at all. But, that’s the relationship we share and that’s the beauty of that relationship; so much is said without saying much at all.”

Ranbir and Deepika share a cordial relationship and are close friends currently. They have worked on many projects together since the time they have broken up.
During their relationship, Deepika had got a tattoo made of Ranbir Kapoor’s initials and before getting married, she got it erased, which is still visible, however, shades lighter now.
Deepika tied the knot with Ranveer Singh on November 14 and November 15 in Lake Como, Italy in a two-day affair, following both Konkani and Anand Karaj traditions.
After the wedding, the couple hosted a reception in Mumbai for their friends and colleagues from the industry on December 1.
