Saturday saw a new development in the Bulandshahr violence incident, where a Policeman and a civilian was killed in a mob violence.
Sitapur SP Prabhakar Chaudhary has been appointed as the new Senior Superintendent of Police Bulandshahr. Chaudhary replaces Krishna Bahadur Singh who has now been transferred to DGP Headquarters, Lucknow.
Along with that two Uttar Pradesh policemen, including a DSP rank officer, were also transferred. Syana Circle Officer Satya Prakash Sharma has been transferred to Police Training College Moradabad. In-charge of Chingravathi police chowki Suresh Kumar has been transferred to Lalitpur, news agency ANI reported.

The orders came a day after ADG (Intelligence) S B Shiradkar submitted his reports to CM Yogi Adityanath. S B Shiradkar is heading the investigation on the violence over allegations of cows being killed.
Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh and a civilian Sumit lost their lives in Bulandshahr mob violence related to cow slaughter on Monday. Singh and his team had gone to the village to tackle the violence when they came under attack.
Following the incident, two FIRs were launched. One FIR was against the alleged cattle slaughter and the other against the violent protests which followed.
However, Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that the Bulandshahr incident is just an ‘ accident’ and a case of mob lynching.
Uttar Pradesh mein koi mob lynching ki ghatna nahi hui hai… Bulandshahr mein jo hua wo ek durghatna thi (no mob lynching incident happened in Uttar Pradesh, what happened in Bulandshahr is an accident),” he said.
