Google launched a feature last year through which people could chat with local businesses on the website globally. The same feature has now been rolled out on Google Maps. Users can communicate with businesses while they search for them on Maps for directions. This means that users can directly contact the restaurant or business and clear a doubt or make a reservation.
Besides this, Google can pull out updates that are used by the business to manage their information online the way it shows on Google Maps and Google Search through the Google My Business app.

The way Google is starting this feature is by messaging users directly through which they can start chatting with the businesses online. The Message button is accessible to both iOS and Android users. From the Google generated message, the users need to enable their messages to start chatting.
The app also has an inbox view from which users can track all your conversations with the businesses. Similarly, businesses that have listed their profiles on Google will get a new Message button in their listing.
In the Google My Business app, the enterprise owners, managers, or staff can get access to add information such as photos, videos, and posts about their business as well as modify the details whenever required.
