FIR against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in the signature bridge case

Date:

Delhi police on Saturday booked Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan for the ruckus at the inauguration of the Signature Bridge.

The FIRs against Kejriwal, Khan and Tiwari were registered on Tuesday but the cases were transferred from the local police to the Crime Branch on Saturday, the police said.

They also said that three cases in connection with the ruckus have been registered and a ‘proper and fair investigation’ is being carried out.

However, what is surprising in the FIR copy against AAP Cheif and MLA, is the fact the address of the Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal is marked as ‘unknown.’

Arvind Kejriwal and Amanatullah have been booked under Sections 323 (criminal assault), 506 (Criminal Intimidation),308 (Attempt to commit culpable homicide), 120b (Criminal conspiracy), 341 (wrongful restraint).

On November 4, during the inauguration of the Signature bridge, a clash broke out between Tiwari, his supporters and AAP workers.

A video of the incident that went viral, shows AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan was seen pushing Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari during the inauguration.
