Taekwondo coach held for allegedly molesting a minor trainee

Manoj Shivvari, a Taekwondo coach and national level player of Madhya Pradesh has been held for allegedly raping his minor trainee Tahani. He got arrested on Monday night. Tahani had won a gold medal in the tournament.

The accused has been booked under IPC section 376 and the Poxo Act. The incident allegedly took place at a hotel in Pune. Manoj runs a taekwondo coaching institute in Morena and was in Pune with his team for a tournament.

The victim and Manoj were staying at the hotel during the tournament where he entered her room and allegedly molested her. Tahani managed to somehow raise an alarm and save herself. When the girl reached her house in Morena, she reported the incident to her mother upon which her mother filed the complaint with the police.
