This WhatsApp forward about Ayushman Bharat scheme is Fake!

Yet another WhatsApp message has been doing rounds, this time the scheme is Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

The message claims that the user can avail benefits under Ayushman Bharat Yojana by clicking on the provided link.

The message read:

*प्रधानमंत्री आयुष्मान भारत योजना 2018* 13 से 70 साल के 10 करोड़ लोगो को 5 लाख रुपये का निःशुल्क बीमा दिया जा रहा है।  *आवेदन करने की अंतिम तिथि 29 October है* तो जल्दी करें और इस मैसेज को अपने सभी दोस्तों को भी भेजें ताकि इस योजना का लाभ सभी को मिल सके | *अभी आवेदन करें*👇👇

The message was also shared by many on facebook with a different link.

However, upon opening both the links look exactly the same.

When you open the link, the site asks users to fill in their name, phone number, age and state.

Fact Check 

This is not the first time this kind of message is being circulated, prior to this many such messages went viral on social media, usually, just a few days after the scheme is launched.

Both the link in the messages does not direct to the official website of Ayushman Bharat. The link to the official website is official- www.abnhpm.gov.in.

According to a twitter post, the fake site was registered with GoDaddy in Maharashtra on 06-Oct-2018.


Many others took to Twitter, urging authorities to take action against this fake site.
