Beware! Online scams on the rise; Jabong’s name used to extract money

Gurugram: Every citizen now-a-days is dealing with the fake calls and fake messages and one such incident happened with a lady, Namrata Verma Kalia who is a resident of Gurgaon, posted a message in a group where she said that she got a call from a lady who said that she is from Jabong and asked her if she has purchased anything from Jabong to which she said yes and said that she is among the top five lucky winners.

She further asked her to first make a purchase first between 5-10k and put items worth 5k in the cart but not pay through the site and share the details of her ATM card with them. By now she got her scam antennas up and blasted at the lady then suddenly the call got disconnected.

She even complained to the Jabong higher authorities, she even said that somebody has surely leaked her data and that’s how these scamsters know so much about them.

People need to be aware and they should know how to deal with these calls. They should definitely file a complaint for it and make them also feel that you are going to lodge a complaint against them so that they stop doing these calls to extort money by doing such things.
