Gurugram’s shame: 16-yr old drugged, abducted and gang raped

Date:

A girl in Chandu Budhera, a village in Gurugram was allegedly abducted, drugged, and raped by a gang on Wednesday afternoon. The 16-year-old girl had gone to dump garbage outside her house.

She was spotted alone on the outskirts of the village on Wednesday night and was taken to a private hospital and admitted. A case immediately registered at the Rajender Park police station under Section 8 of the POCSO act against the unknown people.

The victim’s father filed the complaint, who works and resides in Uttar Pradesh. The statement in the complaint said that she had gone to relieve herself after dumping the garbage when someone suddenly came from behind and covered her face with a cloth after which she became unconscious. She found herself in an awkward condition when she regained consciousness after some time.

A villager informed the family around 8 pm about spotting the girl after which the family members rushed to the place and got her. They found her traumatised and bleeding.

Based on the medical examination reports, the injuries on her body were an evidence of her being raped by more than one person brutally. She had been admitted in a critical condition with profuse bleeding and severe pain in the abdomen, however, as per her mother’s statement, she is now out of danger.
