New Delhi: While the opposition on Monday called for a nationwide bandh, NewsMobile in a Facebook poll asked the audience whether they support the Bandh politics.
In the poll, we asked the people: Do you think Bharat Bandh caused inconvenience to the people?
The poll which reached close to two million people, the majority of NewsMobile subscribers gave a thumbs down to Bandh politics.
79% of voters were against the bandh while 21% favoured the bandh.
The Congress party along with other Opposition parties called a nationwide strike across the country on Monday to protest against the rising prices of petrol and diesel and the falling value of the rupee against the US dollar.

As many as 21 opposition parties, both regional and national, extended their support to the countrywide strike.
Meanwhile, the fuel prices continued its northward march on Tuesday as well with petrol being sold at Rs 80.87 and diesel at Rs 72.97 per litre in the national capital.
