Aruna Jayanthi to head Capgemini’s Apac business

The former head of Capgemini’s business services unit, Aruna Jayanthi has now joined as the Managing Director of Asia Pacific and Latin America. The total business amounts to $1.2 billion.

According to a leading national daily, this change of role for Aruna was expected since June this year. Jayanthi is now part of the French IT company’s executive committee and will report to Chief Operating Officer of the group, Aiman Ezzat.

Jayanthi’s former services as the CEO of business services will now be replaced by Anis Chenchah who will be reporting to Thierry Delaporte, the group CEO.

The duration of Jayanthi’s services as CEO of business services spanned from 2016 to mid-2018, wherein the service further provided BPO and platform services. The division consisted of 25,000 employees and had a turnover of $800 million.
