The tech world is abuzz with reports of the new look and feel of the new iPhone. With the launch of the phone just days away, people are eager to see what the $1 trillion company has in store for us this time round.
Apple is expected to release three new phones this fall, one featuring the same 5.8 inch OLED screen, one with a larger screen, and a new line of phones with a triple camera setup on the back of the phone, to deliver high quality photography. It is also believed that Apple will be releasing their phones in a new colours this time round, including purple, blue, and rose gold.
People are hoping that the a new phone will be light on the pocket. In 2016, Apple released the very small, nifty, yet powerful iPhone SE, which was a more affordable alternative with the same specifications as their larger, more premium models. This year, it is believed that Apple will release an LCD version for those looking to save some money.
Despite all this, many have complained that there is very little innovation coming from the company that was once known for being the pioneer in modern technology. Apple’s competitors such as Google, Samsung, Oneplus, Huawei, and Oppo are already way ahead of the iconic smartphone makers.
They have made breakthroughs in screen technology, and have also released phones that are substantially faster that the iPhone. If Apple wants to keep themselves in the very competitive smartphone business, let’s hope they’re able to prove the critics wrong next month.
As of now, no one knows what the new iPhones are going to be called. iPhone 11? iPhone X1? iPhone XS? It’s really anyone’s guess at this point. Luckily, we don’t have to wait too long before we find out. The annual Apple launch event is expected to be held on September 12.
