As far as Ranveer Singh’s professional life is concerned, the ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ actor is gearing up for his next release ‘Simmba. ‘Simmba’ is the Hindi remake of the 2015 Telugu film ‘Temper’. ‘Temper’ was a story about a police officer named Daya, who works for people involved with smuggling and underworld. His life takes a turn when he hears about a mass gang rape, that takes place in the city. ‘Temper’ starred N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. Ranveer Singh will essay the role of inspector Sangram Bhalerao in ‘Simmba’. This movie will also star Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. ‘Simmba’, backed by Karan Johar and helmed by Rohit Shetty, will release on December 28, 2018. Besides ‘Simmba’, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor will be also seen in ‘Gully Boy’ opposite Alia Bhatt. This movie is a biopic on the lives of Mumbai street rappers Naezy and Divine. The film will be helmed by Zoya Akhtar and will be the second collaboration between Ranveer Singh and Zoya Akhtar after their 2015 movie ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. Ranveer will also be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’ which will star Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead.
On the personal front, Ranveer Singh is all set to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend and Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone in Italy in November 2018.
