Violence erupted in the Valley on Eid-ul-Adaha, Wednesday, as terrorists shot dead a politician, Shabir Ahmed Bhat, in the wee hours of Wednesday in Pulwama district and police constable Fayaz Ahmed Shah, was shot outside an eidgah in Kulgam’s Zazripora later in the day.
Police has registered a case and investigation has started.

People were seen waving national flag of Pakistan and flag of ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria) in Srinagar. And clashes broke out in the between security forces and protesters in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, unidentified bike-borne terrorists opened fire at the main gate of CRPF’s 30th Battalion’s G Company in Bijbehara’s Hassanpora earlier today. The guard at the gate fired in retaliation, however, terrorists managed to escape.

Bhat, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) affiliate, was shot dead by the terrorists at his home in Pulwama’s Rakh-e-litter village. Further details in the matter are awaited.
