There have been a series of controversies after actor Kangana Ranaut had an interaction with spiritual master Sadhguru and the statements she passed on lynching. In spite of being slammed for her comments, she has no regret about whatever she said.
During the conversation with the master, Kangana had said although cows need to be protected, lynching is not the solution for it and every time she hears about a case of lynching, she is heartbroken. She also agreed with Sadhguru about the fact that the people who argue about violence have not seen India and are living in cities and endlessly talking about these things.
On being asked by a national daily if she was trying to normalize cow vigilantism, she said that they didn’t normalise lynching ever. She also said that if a religion worships cows, no one can slaughter cows. If it is a sentimental thing, people should not be instigated.
She also said that people’s sentiments should not be hurt under the tag of being liberals. Further, she said that in a country like India, one should be considerate towards the emotions of others.
Earlier as well, Kangana Ranaut was a victim of several controversies. One of them was when she accused Karan Johar of being the flag bearer of nepotism. She also came into limelight when she announced her relationships with her exes including Hrithik Roshan and Aditya Pancholi.
