UP Police arrests four students for allegedly duping online govt bus ticketing platform

Lucknow: In a major crackdown UP Police on Friday arrested four hackers who used to book free online Tickets/reservation for Buses on UP Bus Transport website (www.upsrtconline.co.in) through compromising Payment Gateway traffic.

Two of the accused are BTech students and the other two are juveniles studying in 12th and one doing a Diploma course in Polytechnic college respectively.

All these techies used Burp Suite, Fiddler and Tamper Data tools to manipulate parameters in Response Code being generated from Payment Gateway server which used to travel in plain text.

They have created a Facebook page and few WhatsApp groups to share Bugs, Exploits and Vulnerabilities of commercial websites among themselves.

These social media groups are under our scanner for sometimes and hope to bust the entire network/ Nexus soon.

UP Police assures more such arrests in coming days.
