Tetra Pak India appoints Ashutosh Manohar as Managing Director

Tetra Pak, the world’s leading food processing and packaging solutions company announces the appointment of Ashutosh Manohar, as the Managing Director of Tetra Pak South Asia Markets. As the Managing Director, Ashutosh will be responsible for Tetra Pak’s business operations in the South Asia Markets including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. Ashutosh will be based at the Tetra Pak India headquarters in Gurgaon.

With an overall experience of three decades, Ashutosh has held a variety of management and leadership positions at Tetra Pak across Europe & Asia for over 16 years. In his last assignment, he was Vice President – Carton Value and Carton Economy in Italy, where he was instrumental in product development, deployment and ensuring product profitability. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Iran and Cluster Leader for Marketing and Product Management, Greater Middle East.

From enhanced visual and tactile appeal in packaging, the introduction of new categories like ready-to-drink ORS and coconut water, distribution services, business & marketing insights, solutions for bringing down systems cost for customers, to remote monitoring services for higher plant productivity, we have an unmatched end-to-end value proposition for our customers.

Driven by this rich portfolio, my focus will be on strengthening our customer partnerships and help them differentiate and grow their businesses,” he adds. As Ashutosh succeeds Kandarp Singh and takes over the role effective from 1st June 2018, Kandarp will now lead Tetra Pak Services business for the South Asia, East Asia & Oceania cluster and will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
