Journalists are often in the firing line for exposing the truth and reporting against politicians and now Robert Vadra, Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law, has sued Republic TV Editor-in-Chief and one of India’s most well-known journalist Arnab Goswami.
The notice is for a report Republic TV ran, alleging notices to Vadra by IT department. The report said that Robert Vadra’s company was ordered to cough up Rs 25 crore tax on undisclosed income.
When contacted Arnab told NewsMobile, “Being sued by someone with Robert Vadra’s credentials is a badge of honour. We will expose the truth and he and his coterie must know his stunts won’t work. The truth has to and will come out.”
