The newest entrant to Cyber Hub in Gurugram, The Drunken Botanist opened its doors with a grand pomp and show. The place belongs to a botanist who got drunk as far as the story of microbrewery goes.
Manish Sharma, the mastermind behind this venture named the place after the book by Amy Stewart has brought it to life. The innovation in food has gone a notch higher with The Drunken Botanist.
The Drunken Botanist is a themed restaurant, styled on the chapters of the book and named the same as the restaurant.
Ambience
The Drunken Botanist is a blend of a botanical garden and a cafe. As you enter, you can be seated around the plants and pots and the entire decor is done is the hues and tones of green – right from the wall to the upholstery. The whimsical look and feel of the restaurant would make one want to visit the place regularly. The spacious feeling of the place makes it stand out more since the tables and chairs are not closely placed together.
Drink and dine
Drunken Botanist highlights a vast menu with plenty of options to choose from. All the dishes on the menu are equally impressive and the presentation is spot-on. The menu is divided between different sections.
Among the highlights of the menu, recommended dishes include MMT Waffle Pizza, Japanese Salmon Pizza (cold), Cold Ramen Noodles, and Choley Bhature Tacos.
