The Patidar leader trio of Hardik Patel along with Gujarat MLAs Alpesh Thakor and Jignesh Mevani are back in news once more. This time for raiding the house of an alleged bootlegger lady from Ganghinagar in Gujarat.
The Patidar quota agitation leaders were booked by the police for allegedly raiding a house containing illegal liquor.
After this, the three accused protested outside the Gandhinagar Superintendent of Police (SP)’s office, after the woman – whose house was raided – filed an FIR against them for allegedly illegally entering her house.

Furthermore, Mevani critisised the Gujarat Police for not exposing the bootleggers. He tweeted,
Instead of taking any action against the bootleggers, Gujarat Police files an FIR against me, Hardik Patel and Alpesh Thakor for exposing that alcohol is being sold at a distance of 100 metre of District Superintendent’s office at Gandhinagar. Shame!

Speaking to media here, Alpesh claimed that the raid was conducted as the family had a criminal background. “We want to make the state alcohol free,” he added.
Meanwhile, Gandhinagar SP said the matter will be investigated thoroughly, and action will be taken based on the investigation.
