The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 0.23% or 83.31 points to 35,657.86 on Friday and the broader Nifty 50 climbed 0.2% or 22.1 points to end at 10,772.65. The markets ended the week in the green led by Reliance Industries, TCS and Hero MotoCorp. However, a late selloff in HDFC twins, ICICI Bank and Sun Pharma capped gains.
