New Delhi: Hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi nominated HD ‘s name for the fitness challenge, Karnataka CM responded through a sarcastic tweet and said he felt honoured by PM’s concern about his health. He then in politicised the fitness challenge and snubbed it while saying, ” I am more concerned about development fitness of my state &seek ur support for it.”

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted the fitness challenge thrown at him by Team India skipper Virat Kohli. Taking to Twitter, PM Modi posted a video of his morning exercise.

After completing the challenge, Prime Minister Narendra Modi challenged newly appointed Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy to post his fitness video on social media. The Prime Minister has also nominated the name of CWG gold medalist Manika Batra for the challenge.

On May 23, after accepting the challenge of Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore, Virat Kohli challenged PM Modi for the same. Apart from the PM, he also nominated his wife Anushka Sharma and former Team India skipper MS Dhoni.
