Sensex closes 209 points higher at 35,692.52; Nifty at 10,842.85

The 30-share BSE Sensex closed 209.05 points higher at 35,692.52, on Tuesday, while the Nifty 50 ended 55.90 points up at 10,842.85, led by gains in RIL and PSU bank stocks amid positive sentiment from global equity markets.
