Strong winds and rains are expected to hit Delhi and nearby areas of Jhajjar, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Hodal and Palwal on Wednesday. ANI quoted the India Meteorological Department (IMD) as saying.
As per the IMD, the areas near Jhajjar, Bhiwani Rohtak may witness hailstorm also.
Earlier, Delhiites woke up to a cloudy Wednesday morning, after parts of the national capital witnessed dust storm coupled with light rains last night.
The Meteorological (MeT) Department had earlier predicted thunderstorm and light rains in some areas of the city later on Wednesday.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 22.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average, it said.
