Stalled roller coaster in Universal Studios Japan leaves riders stranded for 2 hours

Date:

Riders were left stranded for two hours at Universal Studios Osaka Japan after a roller coaster stalled till they were off-boarded safely. The Jurassic-Park themed Flying Dinosaur roller coaster was full with 60 passengers when this incident took place, however, no injuries have been reported yet.

Around early evening, when the passengers were taking a ride on this roller coaster, two of the carriages got stuck and similar incidents were reported earlier as well. One of the carriages were stalled 20 metres above the ground while the other got stuck just before reaching its finishing point.

Immediately safely measures were followed and the passengers were guided by the park staff through an aisle on the side of the roller coaster till the operations were resumed after two hours. In spite of the life-threatening incident, people queued up once the issue was resolved, although some ladies and kids were frightened to board as well.

The ride was claimed to be a terrifying one and a lady who rode earlier before the incident stated that the authorities needed to be careful as the ride would anyway frighten the passengers and this was like the tip of the iceberg for a few riders.
